Individual responses to using management control practices for hybridizing public-sector organizations: evidence from an emerging country

In this article, we aim to examine the responses of individual actors use management controls during hybridization public-sector organizations. We draw on an institutional logics perspective and literature regarding role in hybridizing organizations analyze findings derived from a single case study public university Vietnam. find that partial organization is factor may explain individuals’ toward competing logics. Vietnamese studied, were not contested, unlike their contents formulae. Similarly, compartmentalization strategy by organizational leaders was uncontested due traditional being left mostly untouched.
